Graphic Artist: (2-4 hours per week)
- Experienced graphic designer
- Ability to use Canva, Photoshop Elements, Photoshop CC or similar products
- Willingness to work with other graphic designers to present a unified Big Ocean image to the world
- Design graphics for our social media, newsletter, website, print publications or anything else we may need
- Depending on need, we may ask a graphic designer to work on one specific project like social media or the website etc.
Cottage Committee Secretary: (3-6 hours a month)
- Create cottage leader newsletter each month and send to cottage leaders
- Takes notes at cottage committee meeting and e-mail assignments/ reminders to committee members
- Help maintain cottage leader development spreadsheet from reports at cottage committee meeting
Cottage Committee Recruitment Manager: (5-10 hours a month)
- We Hold 2 virtual cottages each month; email reminders and post about in Facebook page
- E-mail leads and invite them to be part of our Virtual Cottage or an in person Cottage in their area; maintain Cottage Gmail
- Manage Facebook groups: Virtual Cottage and Cottage leaders
- E-mail new Cottage leaders welcome e-mail and schedule new Cottage Leader training call
- Reports to Cottage Committee at Committee meeting on the status of Cottage leader recruitment
- With the Training Manager: Hold new cottage leader training calls whenever they happen and manage Facebook groups
Cottage Committee Training Manager: (5-10 hours a month)
- Hold 2 cottage leader training calls each month; email reminders and post about in facebook page
- Manage facebook groups: virtual cottage and cottage leaders
- Roll out the 2019 cottage leader training and continue to make improvements on it: it has gone down from six trainings to three
- Reports to cottage committee at committee meeting on the status of cottage leader training
- With the Recruitment Manager: Hold new cottage leader training calls whenever they happen and Manage Facebook groups
Writer: (1-2 hours per week)
- Write original content for our newsletter, print materials, marketing, and social media
- Attend monthly coordination meeting
Website Content Writer: (2-3 hours per week)
- Write new website content
- Edit new website content
- Work with Website manager to ensure new content is added to website
Social Media Engagement Specialist: (1-2 hours per week)
- Work with Social Media Manager to plan social media strategy
- Engage on social media platforms for those who comment or ask questions
