While standing in line at CSW61, we met Clarisse Mefotso Fall and her group from African Hope Committee. This incredible organization seeks to help mainly immigrant women coming from Africa to assimilate into the US. Originally from Cameroon, Clarisse came to New York to study Health Education. She spent 5 years working as a health educator before creating African Hope Committee. She loves giving women the tools to succeed within their community, and since their beginning, they have already helped over 15,000 women and young girls. Listen to her interview to hear what they look to accomplish through attending the Commission on the Status of Women.
